Jill King Studio
King is a Chicago born Artist who has been creating and exhibiting her work for over a decade. She has exhibited in private and public places such as the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago, IL, The DeVos Convention Center-Grand Rapids Michigan/Art Prize, 2013 (Her artwork was voted into the top 100 out of 1500 artists), Expo Chicago, SOFA Chicago, the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in Chicago IL, and many galleries throughout the Midwest…. King’s art resides several private and public collections throughout the U.S.
Currently serving as Education Chair for Chicago Sculpture International, King assists in creating educational opportunities and events to promote the organization composed of 150 professional sculptors. As the Education Chair, King recently spearheaded a Lecture Series called “Women Sculptors of Chicago-Not for Men Only” at the Chicago Cultural Center- January thru May 2016.
As a dedicated art instructor, King has been teaching and creating art enrichment classes and programs for the past 28 years. She currently teaches at the Evanston Art Center in her hometown of Evanston, Illinois and at Oakton Community College in Skokie IL.
