Jason has achieved the rank of Master Cicerone through the Cicerone Program, becoming the 11th person in the world to do so. The certification recognizes an exceptional understanding of brewing, beer styles and beer and food pairing— combining outstanding tasting abilities with an extensive knowledge of commercial beers. As Sr. Manager in Innovations, he is focused on developing a pipeline of projects in new and emerging segments of the industry.
Jason has a Master of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University. He was recently named to Crain’s Chicago Business 40 under 40 list, and appeared in “Brewmaster”, a documentary about the beer industry. He has been featured in multiple publications, including the cover of the Black Enterprise Magazine- BE Next “Transforming Tech” issue, All About Beer Magazine, The Hop Review and was also featured in the Black Enterprise Magazine 40 Next “Emerging Business Leaders Who are Shaping our Future” issue.
