|Japanese Dinner on the Pritzker Pavilion Stage|
Guests gazed at the twinkling stars atop the stage of the Frank Gehry-designed Pritzker Pavilion while embarking on a multi-course Japanese dinner experience. Lead by emcee Steve Dolinsky, Chef Diasuke Nakazawa (Sushi Nakazawa), Chicago’s own Takashi Yagihashi (Slurping Turtle), international star Naoyuki Yanagihara, of the Yanagihara School of Traditional Japanese Cuisine, Aya Fukai (Maple & Ash) and Seattle-based Shota Nakajima (Adana) brought classic Japanese flavors in the heart of Millennium Park. The Pavilion, described by one architecture critic as the “most spectacular structure to go up in early-twenty-first-century Chicago,” created an unforgettable backdrop and enhanced the dinner served. Expertly matched drink selections from Suntory Toki Whisky and Joto Sake completed the feast. Kanpai!
