Chef Gerri Clay is from the south side of Chicago, from a big Irish family. Coming from a family of Chicago Police Officers and Chicago Firefighters, she branched out from the family tradition and decided to choose her own path, which led her into the kitchen.
Her passion for cooking and love of food has always been there. Even as a young child, she cooked whenever she could- even when at a very young age that meant scrambled eggs in the microwave for her younger brother. She attained her Culinary Arts degree from Le Cordon Bleu, and has trained under various chefs in several restaurants in the Chicago Area.
She enjoys making delicious dishes, with a strong commitment to the freshest ingredients, while always maintaining the integrity of her food.
