Adam Lukach is a reporter at RedEye Chicago covering music, food and what to do around the city. He grew up on the other side of the Indiana border near the Dunes, taking the South Shore into Chicago for White Sox games and shows.
After studying journalism at Indiana University, he worked at RedEye Chicago and has since bounced between Indiana and Chicago as well as various writing gigs, working for IU and freelancing for publications including NUVO Indianapolis and FanRag Sports. Last year, he was finally able to settle in Chicago full-time as a writer for the Food and Dining section at the Chicago Tribune and returned to RedEye this summer, five years after getting his first pro media gig with the paper.
You can probably find Lukach somewhere eating breakfast food in the afternoon.
