As an active member of Chicago Chefs Cook and World Central Kitchen Chefs Corp, Chef Kapernaros demonstrates his unwavering commitment to helping those in need.  One of his recipes was recently featured in "Chicago Chefs CookBook", a collaboration between Chicago Chefs Cook and Mariano's featuring recipes from 46 local Chefs with all proceeds going to Chi-Care, a local non-profit that helps feed the unhoused.  The Chicago Chefs CookBook is available at all Mariano's stores. 

In his newest role as Executive Chef of Pierless Hospitality, at Navy Pier with Levy Restaurants, Chef Kapernaros fuses culinary innovation with the timeless architectural beauty of the Aon Grand Ballroom overlooking the Chicago Skyline and Lake Michigan.  You can also catch Chef Kapernaros in action in a more intimate setting through his collaborations with award winning Chefs in "The Chef's Table Experience" where he continues to inspire food lovers worldwide.
