Michael Tumbali is one of the Wine Directors for Dineamic Hospitality; overseeing the Italian, Steakhouse,  and French Brands as well as the new Naia location on the river. Deeply rooted in culinary and front of the house operations, Michael’s vision is to make conversations about wine to be as natural as selling your favorite cheeseburger. This goal stems from Michael’s wine origins, as he was completely unaware of the broad scope of wine. A long-time operator of Asian concepts, there was minimal exposure to the broad scope of wine. However, when Michael began with Siena Tavern 10 years ago, a passion for learning was ignited. Michael found success in approaching wine like he does food; by breaking down the most important, tasty aspects to really entice the guest.    

A lifelong Chicago White Sox fan and the first and only member of his family to be in the restaurant industry, Michael enjoys dining with his family and exposing them to new cuisines and restaurants. Outside of all things Chicago sports and eating, Michael is always in search of Magic The Gathering players.
