At the exuberant Pilsen, Logan Square concept, La Luna/Lunita, executive chef Marco Colin brings an elevated approach to Mexican/Latin modern food. Colin, a homegrown chef that hails from Chicago, grew up in an atmosphere that prioritized the freshest ingredients in cooking. From a young age, Colin learned to appreciate the culinary arts, a love that brought him to Kendall College to study the craft. Over the past decade, Colin has worked at a wide variety of critically acclaimed restaurants in Chicago, most notably institutions such as The Publican, Alinea and Soho House.

Each menu that Colin creates is amplified by his extensive culinary knowledge and exceptional creative twists on classic concepts. He loads his dishes with excitement and ensures that each concept that he creates is uniquely his own. Marco Colin focuses on using the freshest local ingredients and local farmers markets to enhance his dishes. Marco creates a strong standing menu with fun seasonal plate specials he uses from his local vendors.
