JAYSEN EULER
Chef Jaysen Euler has been working in professional kitchens since the ripe age of 14, when he started his career as a dishwasher at a local eatery in Ohio. Though Euler started working in professional kitchens as a teen, his culinary journey truly began while experimenting at home on Thanksgiving. In fact, their family tradition was to have everyone who attended Thanksgiving prepare their own dish. So Euler, participating at 12 years old, roasted a leg of lamb. Ever since, he has been in love with the kitchen and creating delicious dishes for people to enjoy.
Euler formally launched his culinary career after attending Arizona Culinary Institute, at Douglas Rodriguez’s Deseo in Scottsdale, AZ. After mastering his skills at Deseo, Euler took his talents to the Sofitel in Chicago’s Water Tower Plaza and worked under Chef Gilles Arzur and Chef Martial Noguier, where an opportunity as Sous Chef for Norwegian Cruise Lines brought him out to sea. After that, Euler set roots back in Chicago, joining Francesca’s Restaurant Group (now Scott Harris Hospitality) at Davanti Enoteca.
Euler left Scott Harris Hospitality for a four-year span, joining Parlor Hospitality Group as Culinary Director, before ultimately returning to Scott Harris Hospitality in the same role, leading their culinary program. He worked closely with teams across Scott Harris’s concepts, always instilling a sense of genuine belief and pride in the food the team was creating to help grow guest experiences. While opening and developing multiple brands under the Scott Harris umbrella, Euler also opened and developed his passion project, Vasili’s—a hearth-focused Mediterranean concept in Naperville.
In September of 2024, Euler joined Ballyhoo Hospitality, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to culinary excellence.
Euler is most fulfilled with his work when engaging with guests and hearing their satisfaction. These compliments never get old and reinforce that Chef is right at home in the kitchen. When he’s not in the kitchen, Euler is with his family—spending time with his wife Alexandra and two children, Dean and Stefania (Stevie). As a husband and dad, Euler’s most treasured moments are those spent grilling in the backyard for his family—already instilling in Dean his love for food.
