Chef George Riley Miller brings more than 30 years of culinary leadership and hospitality experience to Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club, where he serves as Clubhouse Chef overseeing the culinary operations of the Club’s upscale Clubhouse Grille while collaborating as part of the Club’s broader culinary leadership team across multiple dining venues, including the award-winning Vue on 30a. Recognized as “Best Waterfront Dining” by Emerald Coast Magazine and featured in Southern Living, Vue on 30a is a cornerstone of the Club’s elevated culinary program and coastal dining experience.
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Chef Miller built his culinary foundation in the Pacific Northwest before relocating to Florida more than two decades ago to pursue opportunities within luxury resort hospitality. Throughout his distinguished career, he has developed extensive expertise in fine dining, high-volume resort operations, seasonal menu innovation, and elevated guest experiences across some of the country’s premier hospitality destinations.
Prior to joining Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club, Chef Miller spent nearly 20 years with the renowned WaterColor Inn & Resort, where he served in senior culinary leadership roles including Sous Chef and Banquets & Catering Chef de Cuisine. During his tenure, he helped uphold Forbes Four-Star standards for ten consecutive years and played an instrumental role in opening ten restaurant concepts across the resort portfolio, including Fish Out of Water, Costa Chica, Gather Kitchen + Bar, and The LakeHouse.
Chef Miller’s culinary career also includes contributions to several nationally recognized hospitality projects, including assisting with the reopening of the iconic Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs, California, and supporting operations at Gateway Canyons Resort during the Discovery Channel and Univision merger. His experience spans luxury resorts, fine dining establishments, catering operations, and multi-unit restaurant development throughout the United States.
Known for his creative approach to coastal cuisine, operational leadership, and dedication to culinary excellence, Chef Miller continues to help elevate the dining experience at Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club while contributing to the elevated hospitality standards that define the Club and its affiliation with Troon, the world leader in golf and club management.
