Chicago Gourmet will honor one of Chicago’s most beloved chefs, Charlie Trotter, with a Tribute Dinner on Saturday, September 27, 2014, featuring Charlie’s most esteemed friends and colleagues for one night of food, wine and stories. The Tribute Dinner is presented by American Express and will take place during the seventh annual Bon Appétit presents Chicago Gourmet. The evening’s proceeds will be donated to Charlie Trotter's Culinary Education Foundation which provides scholarships and is raising funds for a Charlie Trotter Library and Center for Excellence.Date: Saturday, September 27, 2014

Charlie Trotter's Culinary Education Foundation (CTCEF)Established by Chef Charlie Trotter in 1999, the goals of the Foundation are to educate and expose youth to the great culinary arts in as many ways as possible. The Foundation’s main priority is to award need based scholarship to students who are seeking careers in the culinary arts.
