As Chef de Cuisine of Bohemian House, Andrew Kappa creates a menu of approachable and rustic Central European-inspired fare, influenced by the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Austria. His culinary interest began at a young age, cooking in the kitchen with his family. He jumped into the industry working at a Greek diner in the suburbs of Chicago following High School and he knew he has found his passion. Kappa has been working his way up through Chicago’s diverse dining scene ever since with stints including positions at Little Goat and Embeya, among others, before finding his home at Bohemian House more than two years ago.
