Growing up in his Grandmothers New Jersey coffee shop with a mother who was a Pastry Chef, Chef de Cuisine Christopher Cubberley has been making his imprint in the hospitality industry since 1990.  Following his bout as a Pastry Chef in 2000 at Adega in Denver, Colorado, Cubberely moved to New York City to join the team at LeCirque, before joining Alain Ducasse at The Essex House in 2005.

After spending the summer of 2007 in Bal Harbor, Maine as a Personal Chef to Martha Stewart, Cubberley relocated to Chicago and continued to move his way up; working as an Executive Sous Chef at Delacosta in 2007, followed by Brasserie Rhulman in 2008. In 2009, Cubberley began working at The Gage, a Lawless Family restaurant and continued on to assist with the opening of Henri in 2010 alongside Chef Dirk Flanigan.

With a love for seasonal dishes and American Classics, Chef de Cuisine, Chris Cubberley brings his expertise into the kitchen as he joins award-winning Executive Chef, Oscar Ornelas, elevating Cité‘s  fine dining experience.
