Spike Mendelsohn is a Washington, DC based chef, restaurateur and television personality.
Chef Spike, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America , worked for icons such as Gerard Boyer in Reims, France; Thomas Keller of The French Laundry and Bouchon in Napa Valley, California; Sirio Maccioni of Le Cirque and Drew Neiporent’s Mai House in New York City.
Chef Spike and his family own Good Stuff Eatery and We, The Pizza. Good Stuff Eatery, a fast casual burger concept, has four locations and is due to open a fifth in Chicago this winter.
Along with his sister Micheline, Chef Spike returned to his classic French training and opened Bearnaise, a French bistro, in the summer of 2013.
Chef Spike Mendelsohn has appeared on television programs including Top Chef, Life After Top Chef, Iron Chef America and The Next Iron Chef. His new show, Midnight Feasts, will debut on the FYI network later this year
