Joe Campagna is a local blogger who writes the Chicago Food Snob for ChicagoNow. He is a local Chicagoan who discovered his love for food when he switched careers, leaving the traditional corporate life to attend culinary school. He began his career working for Chef Charlie Trotter. Joe went on to open the restaurant Flight, in Glenview, IL, which received accolades from the Chicago Reader and was named one of the Top Twenty Best New Restaurants by Chicago magazine. He then began working with Graham Elliot and transitioned to the front of the house learning about service while a Captain at Avenues at The Peninsula Hotel Chicago. Joe was the opening General Manager of Graham Elliot before leaving the industry to run his family’s business.
