Geordan Stenson is a native of Illinois and lived in Chicago off and on for most of his life. Geordan
is constantly inspired by the produce and wonderful food in the Midwest and around Chicago. This
translates into his cooking. He highlights the great ingredients the Midwest provides while still
acknowledging the cultures and tastes people bring to the food in this great city. After studying at
Kendall College, he worked and staged in Germany at Michelin starred and high end restaurants
ther e. Then returning to his native Midwest, he continued working in high end and Michelin
kitchens most recently North Pond. He currently is the Executive Chef at freestyle food and drink
at Dana Hotel and Spa.
