Anamaria Solis grew up in the historic food town of Sante Fe, New Mexico. The youngest and only girl in a family of 5. At a young age Anamaria fell in love with baking, and began her own entrepreneurial venture baking cookies and cakes into the wee hours to earn extra money.
In 2008, Anamaria graduated with honors from the Arizona Culinary Institute. She joined the Eddie V’s team in 2007 and in the years following, Anamaria has helped open nine Eddie V’s throughout Arizona, Texas and now here, in the great City of Chicago.
In 2015, shortly after winning Alton Brown’s Cutthroat Kitchen, Anamaria was promoted to the position of Executive Chef at Eddie V’s, Chicago
In her spare time, Anamaria can be found sparing in the ring, belting it out on stage at the local karaoke bar or shouting “BINGO!” at the late night bingo palace.
