Adam Rapoport is the Editor in Chief of Bon Appétit magazine. In 2012, under his direction, Bon Appétit was nominated for six National Magazine Awards, won three Society of Publication Designers (SPD) awards and was named to both the Adweek Hot List and the Ad Age A-List. Before joining Bon Appétit in 2010, Rapoport was GQ's Style Editor, where he covered food, travel, fashion, design, film and music. Prior to his time at Condé Nast he edited the restaurant section at Time Out New York and worked as an editor and writer for the James Beard Foundation's Publications Office.
Rapoport is a frequent guest on the TODAY show, and recently edited the magazine’s latest cookbook The Grilling Book: The Definitive Guide.
He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and lives in Manhattan with his wife and their son.
