Todd Hatoff was born, raised, and currently resides in Chicago, IL. His current position is that of president of Allen Brothers, Inc.
As the fourth generation Hatoff at Allen Brothers, Todd joined the company in 1992, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin, where he majored in international relations, political science and history.
Eighteen years ago, Todd found himself at the helm of a company with an established wholesale business-providing beef to the nation's top steakhouses and finest restaurants.
But Todd saw an opportunity for new growth. With a focus on creating remarkable meals at home, he led Allen Brothers into a new frontier. Todd launched a catalog (and subsequent website) to provide their "best of the best" USDA Prime steaks to at-home customers from coast to coast. Today, the catalog and website business has grown to include the finest gourmet foods from around the world.
Todd is always in search of new and creative ways to market and grow Allen Brothers' business. His successful marketing strategies include participation in events such as the prestigious food and wine festivals and involvement with well-known chefs like Art Smith and Emeril Lagasse. These associations have helped Allen Brothers to become known not only as a staple for the finest restaurant dining but also as a household name for premium products that are "always the best."
Todd is an avid supporter of a number of community service and civic organizations. In addition to the Young Presidents Organization, he is also an active member of the Direct Marketing Association, the National Association of Meat Purveyors and the Illinois Restaurant Association.
Todd's enthusiasm for history and politics, along with his voracious reading, has inspired extensive global travel and his appreciation for the world's finest cuisines.
