Native to Waukegan Illinois started cooking at an early age with family both here and in Wisconsin, decided to switch career from the mental health field into cooking professionally . Attended Cooking and Hospitality Institute then traveled abroad to Europe to further education. Returned to Chicago and opened Twilight in WickerPark earning critical praise for farm to table cooking before it was all the rage. After shuttering Twilight helmed the kitchens at Watusi and Tizi Melloul and WLakeshore, and most recently part of the opening team of Sunda New Asian
